Join us for this year's hike that will be unlike any
other hike we have done!  The event begins at
11am at the Nashville Christian Church.  All
Hike pledges will be collected and the walk will
begin.  We will be walking the beautiful Salt
Creek Trail.  A yummy lunch will be provided at
the end of the walk.  Don't forget the Golden
Boot is going to be up for grabs once again to
the group raising the most funds.
**New this year - the youth group with the most
participants will receive $200 for their
organization's team**.

Brown County High School Auditorium
We had a wonderful evening of music and toe-tapping fun as the Habitat for Humanity Concert
by the Brown County Community Band as they presented
"Timeless Treasures". The concert
included many tunes which brought back fond memories. The Brown County Community Band
is led by Director Amy Smith .

A great fund raiser , all proceeds go directly to Brown County Habitat for Humanity. This is a
major benefit to help build homes, community and lives in our county.

During intermission, Crystal and Abe McGrayel and their two children, Rosalyn and Elias, were
introduced as the 2014 Habitat partner family. Also announced will be the  2014 Habitat
Volunteer of the Year Wanda Jones and Special Recognition Award was given to Verne
Sindlinger for his passionate work with Habitat over the past decade.

Spring Blossom Parade, downtown Nashville
Brown County Habitat's fantastic float
creator Bruce Clegg did it once
again!  He created an award winning
ride in this year's Spring Blossom
Parade.
Habitat's SummerFest on the Village Green was the best first day of
Summer event in 2014!

Local live entertainment performed by:
Braeden Brown & Bad of Renown, Frank Jones & Friends, and the
Indiana Boys

An eclectic silent auction included paintings, pottery, woodworking,
gift certificates, tools, furniture and so much more.

The food tent with pulled pork sandwiches was yummy and we had
the sweetest  bake sale in the County!  Thanks for all that came out
for this wonderful SummerFest and making it a success!  See you
next year!
