June 22, 2013 —SummerFest at the Village Green in Downtown Nashville
Summer Kickoff's off with Habitat's SummerFest on the Green! Music and
Food start off the best auction on the block! Lot's of one of a kind artwork
antiques and images for all. Plus there will be fantastic local musicians and
yummy foods, The best way to start the first day of summer!
September 21, 2013 —Habitat Hike for Humanity
The Hike will begin at the parking lot of the Nashville Christian Church.
Following a leisurely hike through the streets of Nashville the hikers will return to
the church parking lot for a free lunch and music. St. David's won the 2012
Golden Boot Award with 17 participants. Will your team take home the Golden
Boot in 2013?!

Habitat for Humanity Concert by the Brown County Community Band presented
"Meaningful Memories". The concert included many tunes which brought back fond
memories under the direction of Conductor Ray Lafin and featured tenor soloist Eli
Rodiquez. Ray and friends performed “Dazzling Drums” to the delight of the audience.
During intermission, Sarah and Brandon Payne and their two children, Kara, and
Cameron were introduced as the 2013 Habitat partner family. Magical Mark
Thompson was awarded the 2013 Habitat Volunteer of the Year.
At the conclusion of the concert, Ray Laffin was recognized as he retired from
directing the Band for the last thirteen years. A special reception and receiving line
was held allowing everyone to greet and congratulate Ray and Judy (Band librarian)
for their outstanding contributions to the Band and the Brown County community.
Thanks to everyone for making this event another "Meaningful Memory"!
May 4, 2013 Spring Blossom Parade

He delivered as promised! Habitat's fantastic float
creator Bruce Clegg came up with yet another award
winning creation. Bruce directed many busy hands to
create the famous Yellow Submarine. George, Paul,
Ringo and John were along for the ride complete with
bubbles coming from the submarine as it made it's
way through beautiful downtown Nashville!
May 19, 2013 at 4pm Ground Breaking Ceremony

We are now ready to start the Brown County Habitat for
Humanity 2013 build!
We will have a Ground Breaking Service on Sunday, May
19th at 4:00PM on the site of this year’s house. The
building site is located near the corner of Tree top Lane
and SR 135 North just north of Nashville. Please come and
share the excitement with Sarah and Brandon Payne and
their two children, Kara, and Cameron as we officially start
this year’s project.
