| Saturday, April 24, 2010 Brown County Community Band Concert Join us for the annual Brown County Community Band Concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity. The event will be held at the Brown County High School Auditorium, 7:30pm on Saturday, April 24th. The band provides great entertaining music with professional quality! Then during the intermission, the new partner family will be introduced and the 2010 Volunteer of the Year announced. Following the concert, free cookies in the cafeteria! This is one of the best community fund raisers for our local affiliate with as many as 300 in attendance. Ticket sales and contributions the night of the concert are good, but many of the dollars come from concert program ad sales. Local merchants and individuals participate with $25 - $200 ads printed in the program. Anyone interested in placing an ad should contact Dona Glentzer by phone at 317-878-5658 or e-mail dglentzer@yahoo.com. She will be happy to provide details. |
